The horror stories that we have heard about lazy IT support companies have been really quite shocking.
It is true that lockdown occurred suddenly on March 23rd 2020, we were all taken by surprise as the changes were instant and unexpected. As a serious IT support company we had the busiest fortnight in our 20 year history.
The first point on our “crisis management” meeting agenda was in bold at the top of the page: PUT THE CLIENT FIRST. We had to make sure that all of our clients and their teams were set up and ready to work from home safely, with secure business data and functional communication tools, as soon as possible.
Once everyone was set up, with full access to their required business tools, we focused on calling them regularly to help them deal with the main frustrations of working from home and there were many. We have done all we can to keep our clients problem free during this lockdown period. (We do, however, apologise for not helping with any of the home schooling!)
